To Know What’s Really Going On
DEKRA Imperial offers a specialized unannounced inspection service at partner repair shops during ongoing repairs. The goal? To ensure everything is running as it should — with quality, transparency, and professionalism.
What we check:
Quality of Repairs
We assess the quality of services provided to customers.
Equipment
We record and assess the technological equipment (e.g. lifts, paint booths), supported by photographic documentation.
Staff Training
We examine the qualifications and training of the team.
Legality of Operation
We check licenses, certifications, and compliance with legislation.
Infrastructure & Amenities
We evaluate location, access, parking spaces, reception, costing programs, and availability of replacement cars.
Customer Service
We assess the customer experience, from first contact to completion of the repair.
How the Inspection is Conducted:
1.Open Visit
A DEKRA Imperial inspector visits the repair shop, checks the equipment, and gathers all necessary documents (licenses, certifications, diplomas, etc.).
2.“Mystery Shopping”
One of our experts visits the repair shop as a regular customer to assess behavior, process integrity, and signs of misconduct — like adding unrelated damage — and reports on the full experience.
Inspection of Prospective Repair shops
DEKRA Imperial also carries out preventive inspections of candidate repair shops before they are added to an insurance company’s network. We provide detailed reports that document the shop’s suitability — offering transparency and third-party justification.
Do you want to ensure the quality and reliability of your network of repair-shop partners? Contact DEKRA for a comprehensive and independent evaluation.
