DEKRA offers a comprehensive e-mobility seminar with technical training via app and a certificate, tailored to meet the new safety requirements of drivers, repairers, insurance companies, trailer operators, dealers and repair shops. It is thus an innovative training course leading to certification that will enable operators, suppliers, repairers and technicians from all over the world to know how to safely operate, tow, repair and maintain electric, hybrid and fuel cell vehicles. DEKRA, as an independent body, issues certification for successful completion of the course.
The seminar on electromobility is based on an innovative modern application of DEKRA called ‘Educational Cube’. It is offered on DEKRA’s LMS platform, and is available for smartphones, tablets and computers.
The training is carried out employing 3D learning elements, explanatory videos, but also the use of realistic models (electric, hybrid and fuel cell) through DEKRA’s virtual reality glasses.
In this way, knowledge about the structure of electric vehicles is transferred in an understandable and entertaining way with various 3D exercises with the help of virtual reality glasses, explanatory videos to introduce the basic concepts, but also practical training in a real vehicle.
Participants will have 1 year access to all training material and updates. In addition, at the end of the training course, they will obtain a certificate from DEKRA, an independent body, internationally reputed, with many years of experience in professional training and certification.
Learners can acquire and practice all the necessary skills by following the different steps in an exciting two-level learning journey:
- Junior Profile (as a prerequisite for all) contains the initial digital training for crane drivers, operators, and call center agents, through a web application. The learning period is about 5 hours.
- Senior Profile (for more advanced drivers/technicians) contains the Initial Digital Training through a web application and additional practical training. The duration of training is about 1 hour of digital training and 1 day in person with a specialized instructor and a car.
*The Junior Profile is a prerequisite before participating in the Senior training.
