DEKRA will be showcasing solutions for the safe transformation of the energy sector at E-world, the leading trade fair for the energy industry taking place in Essen, Germany, from February 11 to 13, 2025.
There is no alternative to switching to climate-friendly energy sources for the future. Already today, there are many alternatives to fossil-based energy technologies, with biogas (CNG/LNG), synthetic fuels (e-fuels), battery electric solutions, and climate-neutral hydrogen technologies on the rise. To foster their acceptance by society, the safety of systems and infrastructure must be ensured alongside performance, cost-effectiveness, and feasibility.
As Germany’s largest testing organization and innovator, DEKRA offers testing and certification solutions spanning the entire energy value chain: from climate-friendly power generation, transportation and storage through to use.
DEKRA offers energy producers testing services for onshore and offshore wind power plants and for photovoltaic and biogas facilities, for example. DEKRA’s stand at E-world will focus particularly on hydrogen technologies and climate-neutral hydrogen derivatives, especially electrolyzers, pipeline and road transport, and tank farms. DEKRA supports the developers, manufacturers, operators, and users of hydrogen with services in the areas of process, plant, and environmental safety in accordance with the customary standards and testing regulations.
